Hey friends hey! I hope y’all are having a lovely Wednesday 🙂 It is finally feeling like spring here (in the 70s for the next few days) and I am ready to enjoy it while it lasts. On warmer days, I love going to our local park and setting up a picnic + work space to enjoy the day and get away from the noise around my house. Since I have been working from home, my body knows exactly when the landscape team will be outside cutting the grass and exactly when the trash men are going to come around, so instead of letting those distract me, I plan on working from somewhere else. ICYMI, I did a full Monday routine a few weeks back and will be talking more about my working outside routine + tips on Friday.

Y’all, ICYM my entire life, blue is literally my jam. So when I saw this Carly Midi from Maggy London, it was literally a no brainer. Since I work from home most of the time, I try to invest in nice business professional clothes that I can wear to conferences, trainings, big meetings and teaching. To be honest, a few months ago I probably would have never worn a dress fitted this way, but over the past few weeks, I have been really digging into why I had those boundaries set-up for myself and how I can change my mind about what I can’t/shouldn’t be wearing just because I’m not down to the size I want to be. However, I have never felt more confident wearing something so fitted than I have wearing this dress to my big meeting last week. Truly, I could see anyone rewearing this dress to a wedding, a speaking event or a business casual work place. Since this dress was bold enough with the fit + color block, I styled it with my favorite dark blush classic pumps and favorite Kate Spade watch. My earrings are my go-to pair for when I want to wear minimal jewelry and makeup, since they steal the show all on their own.
