#WorkWearWednesday From Day to Night

Hey friends, happy Wednesday 🙂 This week has already been so hectic with me trying to catch up on work that I slacked on while being sick and traveling. Y’all, I was in my office on Monday for 4 hours just answering emails and creating my to-do list for the week. I also took time to clean up my inbox by unsubscribing to over 30 newsletter/store lists/stuff I never signed up for in the first place and I feel AMAZING after doing that. I realized on Monday that I was receiving over 100 emails a day and most were not valuable to me in any way, so I had to let them go. As tedious as it was to get through all of them, I am just so grateful to be feeling well again and able to get work done. When I took a coffee and refresh break on Monday, I decided to redo my office for the new year! Y’all know how obsessed I am with my current office (see the post OFFICE), but definitely think that it is time make it a little cleaner and more functional. So, stay tuned for that in the next few weeks!

Today, I’m sharing this fun dress from All For Color styled for work and cocktail hour afterwards. Like 90% of my wardrobe, I try to only invest in pieces that I can name 3 times/places/occasions that I can style it before buying and this dress is no exception. The subtle v-neck and 3/4 length sleeve makes the dress easy to style for work or to dress down for cocktail hour, a summer dinner or afternoon church. This dress is incredibly warm and made out of a thicker material, which is great for wearing during the cooler seasons with a light jacket or no jacket at all. Just throw on a  pair with pumps, classic jewelry and a black bag for business casual workplace. Add booties or wedges, statement earrings and a scarf for a simpler way to style for cocktail hour, a day on the town or for a quick date night.

  12. Cute outfit! I especially like the dress with the scarf 🙂 And yes it feels amazing to unsubscribe from emails! I tend to do that regularly because I get hundreds of emails a day and it’s so frustrating when useful emails get lost in the junk. Hooray for productivity and coffee!

  40. Honestly I love a good statement blazer to take me from day to night! I have a metallic tweed KASPER blazer that I recently purchased that I adore, and I can dress it up or down for work or going out so it’s totally versatile!
