Happy Thursday, sweet friends! The long weekend is so close that I can almost taste it. At 12:30 today, my morning class ends then I have 4 days of pure relaxation on my schedule. I know that not working at all will be a struggle so I’m deciding to only do 3 things on my to-do list a day, instead of the 10 or so I strive for normally. I mentioned in my post on Monday that I was searching for places to go for the weekend and am so excited to head to a non mainstream beach for a day with my pup then spend the rest of time relaxing at home and doing light local travel. My least favorite part about travel is leaving my pup so I’m always on the hunt for ways I can take him with me when traveling so he can enjoy time out as well.
Today, I’m excited to share a post all about my favorite pants! As a barely 5’1 women, shopping for pants (especially for work) can be a struggle. The petites usually don’t fit my thighs and the regulars are about 6-10 inches too long. When I started working full-time in an office setting after graduation last year, I quickly realized that I had no choice but to get business casual pants instead of wearing dresses every day. As always when it comes to fashion, one of my first stops is Old Navy. To me, Old Navy is one of the best affordable stores with sizes for everyone that has a great online inventory. I quickly fell in love with their Pixie pants! One of the reasons I love this pant is because they are skinny/ankle fitting fit. A few weeks back I talked about how I hadn’t worn boot-cut or flare pants since middle school and honestly, I don’t see that changing right now. As much as I love flare jeans on other girls during winter and fall, I tend to gravitate towards skinny leg pants when shopping. Second, these pants are available in ankle and full-length styles. That alone is one of the major reasons I feel comfortable sharing because I know that my readers who are my height can find the length for them, as well as my readers that are 1 foot or more taller than myself.
Lastly, I love the color and print selection! Every season a new color and/or pattern is added in store, which eventually ends up in my closet. Seriously ya’ll, I have these pants in 8 colors and then have at least 4 of the Harper style pant. Even after I wash and wash and wash, the colors stay just as vibrant and I never have a problem with thigh shedding from my chub rub. I can easily wear these pants with pumps or espadrilles or ballet flats and feel business casual. So friends, what is your favorite must-have pant in your closet? I love the color of those pants! I have a long torso and short legs so I always have a problem with pants. Basically the cropped version of everything fits me perfectly, lol. I need to check out Old Navy’s selection. I hope you have a great weekend!

OMG I LOVE Old Navy’s Pixie pants – they are so versatile and super cute!!! You can dress them up with a blazer for work or dress them down with a tee shirt for weekends.
