Happy Monday, beautiful people! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and are starting off Monday on a great foot. If you were following over on Instagram stories this weekend, then you probably saw the small projects I was working on. Since I teach at a community college, I have a longer holiday break than most people AKA 3.5/4 weeks off to do what I want. Since I’ve been traveling so much this quarter, I decided against taking a big trip during this break. Being completely honest, I’ve been neglecting my house/ adult tasks like cleaning my messy car, purging unwanted clothes, organizing and decluttering. On my stories, I shared my two organization projects I’ve done so far: laundry room & under bathroom sink. Those two places aren’t usually the prettiest spaces in homes and have been neglected so badly in mine. In my laundry closet, I have two shelves directly above my washer and dryer. I added 4 baskets on the first shelf for items such as detergent, pillow cases, extra paper goods and more. I simply added labels on the front of each basket. On the top shelf, I lined up all my extra pillows. Under my sink, I added 6 stackable bins to have a basket for the following categories: period, toilet paper, face washes/masks, body, hair & soap. Both of these were super small projects but I feel so much better now that they are done. I still have tons of spaces to tackle including my closet and car, so make sure you’re following over on Instagram so you don’t miss out!

If you’re anything like me, you’re behind on Christmas shopping #SorryNotSorry! This year, I’m not shopping for as many people as I have in the past but I haven’t had much time to do the little bit of shopping I need to. When I’m shopping, I prefer to get a bunch of small gifts and create a themed basket. I seriously love shopping for cozy gifts, beauty items and paper goods. That means that all things blanket and scarves and face masks and planners and notepads are always my go-to items. Many of the items I have here are actually on my holiday wishlist, so *cough* family & friends *cough*, if you’re reading you know what to get me. Since we are getting super close to Christmas, I only added items here that will be delivered in time to get under the tree.
