Merry Christmas Eve, friends! Like so many of you, I am cuddled up at home this holiday eve relaxing and indulging in holiday treats. This morning, I finished Wrapped Up in You by Talia Hibbert, a Kobo app exclusive, and started the search for a sci-fi / fantasy book for our February book club. In between time, I remembered that several people asked to see more shots from this holiday table setting sponsored post I shared over the weekend. So, today I’m sharing just that and some details on how I pulled this sunset holiday wine tasting / dinner setting for two quickly together.
Chargers // Plate + bowl: Tuesday Morning // Champagne flutes (similar)
Wine glasses: Pier 1 // green candle // table covering // gold silverware
To start, I was looking for affordable holiday plates with the option to use between seasons. Outside of the printed plate with pinecones and greenery, the chargers + small top bowl can be used all year around. Both the printed plate and rimmed bowl were pick-ups from Tuesday Morning for just under $14. With the additional of the faux wood chargers + wine tasting sheets with gold silverware on either side, the plate setting is done.
Next, I focused on the drink needs and decor. With both red and sparkling wine, I reached for my favorite green wine glasses (from Pier 1 liquidation sale) and champagne flutes (linked above) . When setting a table for two, there’s usually room for decor and fun extras such as pairs of glasses and knick knacks. In the middle of the table I placed the holiday bouquet I put together with flowers with Trader Joes. Lastly, a few decor items like the green and clear glass trees and a pine wonderland candle finishes off this quick sunset wine tasting for two.

And just like that, the table setting is done! This shoot was originally put together for a brand partnership but honestly, it was one of my favorite shoots this year. With being limited to mostly outdoor seating this year, finding ways to enjoy outdoor dinning in the cooler months has been difficult. But with this sunset dinner set-up and the help of throw blankets and warmer clothing, enjoying a rooftop meal in December was not just possible, but incredibly enjoyable 🙂
Friends, I hope you have a lovely holiday week and find time to rest, recharge and reset before the new year. -xo, Azanique <3
