Happy Monday Tuesday, sweet friends! Okay so if you’re following me on Instagram, I mentioned I wanted to have this post ready yesterday. However, I found more fun deals and brands I love to share. So here we are on a beautiful Tuesday chatting about the Sephora sale. When it comes to makeup, I usually am only wearing a full face 3-4 days a week. My “full face” I mean foundation or cc cream, under eye concealer, mascara, powder, chapstick & lip gloss. Altogether, I’m done in about 15 minutes and swear by the same few products. However, when sales like the Sephora Spring stock-up happen, this is the time I 1. get backups of current favorites 2. try something new 3. stock up on kits for travel. If there are brands you’ve been waiting to get your hands on such as Drunk Elephant or Pat McGrath, there are sets and travel kits, part of the sale, that would be a great place to start before dropping a ton of $$$.
For the sale, simply sign into your Sephora account to find your tier and use the these codes for the discount: Rouge members get 20% off HEYROUGE; VIB members get 15% off HEYVIB; & Insiders get 10% off HEYINSIDER. Rouge members have first and only access until May 1st. After May 1st, the sale is open to everyone, regardless of tier level. Plus, as a flash deal, Sephora is offering 1 year of 2-day shipping for $15. If you’re a frequent shopper, this would be a great time to get this deal since two-day shipping is usually $11 per order. So, let’s get started with my favorites!
Brands I love
Murad – I briefly talked about Murad in this face wash post, but y’all, I am a true fan now. I currently use their Night Fix Enzyme Treatment daily. If you struggle with texture and rough skin, the night fix will be the perfect addition to your beauty routine. The normal price is $70, but depending on your discount, the final cost will be $56-$63. I know this is a bit pricer than most night creams I talk about, however, this will last you several months (I’m currently on month 3) so over that time, you get the full worth of the product. The hydration line, which the night fix is part of, is my favorite line they carry. However, if you struggle with scaring and dark marks, their vitamin c line is incredible and works wonders.
Too Faced – I recently started using Too faced makeup and love love love their lip glosses. My budget friendly lipgloss of choice will always be NYX, but if you’re looking for a more “designer” lip gloss, Too Faced is a great place to start. All their shimmer lip glosses are perfect for all day shine. Plus, if you’re a highlight queen (or king), this multi-use highlighter will change your life. Like seriously, it’s that good!
Urban Decay – I’ve share UD with you all several times at this point, but they are still one of my holy grail brands that I will forever shop from. If you don’t buy anything else from them, I cannot stress enough how good the setting spray is for all day flawless makeup. All night was my first UD purchases and their are several variations:
Pollution protection | De-slick oil control | Chill cooling + hydrating | Traditional
It Cosmetics – Hello under eye concealer lover of my heart! Y’all, based on so many Youtube gurus recommendations, I started using a ton of eye products from IT Cosmetics, however, the under eye concealer has been the best for me. Since I have lines under my eyes, I had a hard time find a good consistency that didn’t fall right into my lines. This concealer was the best consistency with the least amount of creasing + didn’t leave my eyes look grey at the end of the day. I currently use the recommended dual end brush for application, but a beauty blender or another makeup sponge will do just fine! This concealer does leave a little glow under your eyes, so less white powder is needed!
Laura Mercier – Okay friends, I think I found the tinted powder for me! For the longest time, I was trying to make white powder work for a all over powder on my face and it just didn’t work. I can’t stop recommending the Laura Mercier Translucent Medium Deep powder if you are tan -> deep skin toned. Also, this powder lasts forever and ever and ever. I’m on month 4 and still have some left to continue out the next few weeks.
Brands I want to try
Fenty Beauty – Okay, I think I’m the only person left who in the world who hasn’t tried Fenty yet! In stores, I’ve sampled the foundation and concealer, but have never been in the market for new of either. The first thing on my list is the body lava, obviously, just in time for a warm summer glow!

Pat McGrath – Thanks to my girl Jackie Aina, I am now a Pat McGrath fan girl. I love her mini lipsticks sets so they are first on my list to try (only $25 for 3 colors) then I’ll work my way up to the palettes. The extended palettes are definitely more than I spend on normal palettes but I am so excited to support an amazing black & woman owned company. Have y’all tried her brand yet?
Drunk Elephant – Has anyone else noticed the Drunk Elephant cult right now?! Any skincare guru you follow will have something, if not everything, from Drunk Elephant in their skincare routine. They only use clean, non-additive formulas + are cruelty free! Win/win in my book! However, their products are pricey pricey and more pricey. I have my eye on their minis sets so I can try all of the fan favorites before committing to anything. Then, I’ll use the minis to travel with so I don’t have to bring full-size products with me and risk losing them or TSA trashing them.
Exclusive sale kits
Murad | GLAMGLOW | Drunk Elephant | Peter Thomas Roth | LANEIGE | Biossance
Okay friends, I know that’s a lot so I’ll stop there. As a girl on a budget, sales like this one allow me to shop a little bit more for new products I’ve been dying to try. As a reminder, Rouge members get 20% off HEYROUGE; VIB members get 15% off HEYVIB; & Insiders get 10% off HEYINSIDER. I would love to see what you guys pick up from the sale, so send me an email, DM or comment about what you got! Thanks so much for reading! Have a great day -xo, Azanique <3
