Happy Saturday, lovely friends! If you can’t tell by the late and only post this week, this week has been INSANE aka super busy and off track for me. Usually January feels like it drags but I am shocked that we are at the mid point already. Regardless, weekends always make me happy and after a birthday brunch with my mom, I was excited to come home and relax with a good movie on the couch. Since weeknights are filled with blogging and freelance work, plus working out when I can, the weekends are my main TV time.
Like this post and this post, my dress is Donna Morgan through Rent The Runway. I am maximizing my discounted two months (Use Alicia’s code for $200 off your first 2 months: CHEW50) and trying out more colors and styles than I would on my own. I rarely, if ever, wear yellow but am so excited I picked this up. Sheath material is known for being fairly thick but the pros of this is 1. no chance of being see through 2. warm enough to wear in cooler temperatures. Even though our winter in North Carolina has rarely seen less than 45 degrees, this dress is perfect for you ladies who live in colder places and/or work in offices that stay cold during the day.
During my first month of RTR, I purchased this jacket. The style is a classic and easily will become a staple in my closet. I am SO tempted to also purchase this dress for summer events and conferences. It’s on a great sale right now and available on RTR, Amazon & Dillards in a variety of sizes and colors. I will say that as much as I love this dress, there is practically no stretch to it. I sized up to have some extra room all around out of fear that my normal size would have no wiggle room to sit. I am also in my round season of winter so a little extra space couldn’t hurt. Ya know?
