Good morning, sweet friends! My week off from blogging + IG posting has been filled with moving, attempting to unpack, a work conference, an undeliverable bed and just about everything else in between. On the plus side, I am finally 100% in my new place and now need to do the real work: organizing and purging. Before I set to move, I had a ton of ideas on ways to organize my refrigerator, pantry and bathroom thanks to Pinterest and Instagram. Now that I’m finally settled, I am excited to see all my ideas come to the life and make this little space my home.
The thing I’m most excited about with settling in is having access to my closet again! I have missed so many #workwear pieces including this dress I picked up a few weeks back. If you’re in a corporate office, this style dress would be perfect for meetings and busy days with a modest length and no revealing neckline. A simple way to “dress up” a dress in a more corporate office is to add a blazer that can be worn if needed, but that you also have the option to not wear. If you work in a more casual environment, this dress is perfect for a day in the office with flats or at night to a work dinner or conference. Following my rule of 3, I picked up this dress to wear to: work, church and happy hour. Since my heels are already a closet staple, pairing them with this dress is perfect with the option to switch out to my favorite two-strap sandals when heading to cocktail hour.
As far as suggestions for caring for the dress, the material is high-quality however needs to be washed on low cycle with not many other items. I would also suggest hanging to air dry versus putting in the dryer. The best part is that I’ve now worn this dress 2-3 times, with washing in between, and haven’t seen any color transferring from similar colored items or shrinkage. Wear my normal size was perfect and gave me a little room to breathe in the mid section and to not feel tightness around my neck after zipping.
Well friends, that’s all that I have for today! Thank you so much to those who reached out wishing me good luck with my move and have celebrated with me along the way! I have so many ideas on how to bring the organization and home settling process to the blog and cannot wait to share this new life journey with you all! Have a great weekend! -xo, Azanique <3

Love this dress! Also totally need to go to Pinterest and find some ideas for organizing our bathroom closet! Very deep shelving makes it hard to keep anything organized!
