#Olay28Day Challenge

Hey y’all! I hope everyone has had a lovely week. I am so excited to finally have finished #Olay28Day Challenge! With the seasons changing, I was in need of a new skincare routine, and this challenge was perfect for me. Something that I tend to struggle with having combination skin is that some moisturizing products are too greasy and some matte solutions are too dry. See my problem here? But, before I indulge all the challenge results, let me tell you what I was looking for before starting.

  1. Clearer complexion – glowing skin
  2. Less dry spots/dry skin on my face – hydrated skin
  3. Lightening of dark mark/scars – radiant skin

Pretty simple, right?! All of these above “wants” are common amongst women of color, that’s what I am so excited that Olay has skin care items specifically for women of color and the special needs of their skin. I honestly was looking to gain a fresh face, how did I get started? Here’s the breakdown:

  1. Morning and night cleanse with the Olay Luminous Micellar water
  2. Morning and night, apply a thin layer of Olay Luminous Miracle Boost Concentrate
  3. Morning, apply a thin layer of Olay Luminous Hydrating Lotion 
  4. Night, apply a thick layer of Olay Luminous Overnight Mask

So, what’s my verdict? L O V E, love it. The main results I saw from the #Olay28Day Challenge was lightening of dark spots and scars. Also, my skin was much smoother, particularly from using the Overnight Mask. If you have oily skin, I suggest using a thin layer of the Overnight Mask to avoid making your skin more greasy. I also suggest using 3-4 drops of the Miracle Boost Concentrate because that product in particular is for fading dark spots and uneven skin tones. Below, is a midpoint and an ending.

Overall, I found the #Olay28Day challenge to be beneficial and sensitive to my skin needs. In case you skipped straight to the bottom, here’s a brief overview.

    • I am usually the same way! Sometimes it is hard to remember all the skincare tips you find.
