Hello, sweet friends! Happy Wednesday to you 🙂 I am so excited for this week because it means that next week is Thanksgiving. I’ve just finalized my plans to go see my childhood friends in Atlanta and y’all, I am pumped. It’s been two years since I’ve been to Atlanta and I am craving some time away. As always, the hardest part of traveling is leaving my sweet pup. I boarded him for the first time last month and I forsake shed a few tears when I left him and while on my trip. Even though I could watch him on the cameras, I still missed him like crazy! (#ObsessedDogMom here – zero shame). Regardless, I’m excited to 1. Have decided on plans and 2. I’m spending the holiday in a fun way.
So today y’all, I am excited to share a new product I’ve been testing for the past month or so: Notion CBD lotion. If you guys are new around here, you know I’m #TeamNoSleep. I have been since college and let me tell you, it’s not my best attribute. My brain basically comes alive in the nighttime and that’s when I feel most creative. When I worked full-time for myself + from home, this wasn’t too much of an issue. With the blog and freelancing, I could pretty much work whenever, wherever and on my own timeline.
Now that I’m back to office life, I have found it incredibly hard to force myself to go to bed early to wake up sooner. Though we have a “flexible” office culture, my preferred time to be up and interacting with tons of people is 10am. After 2 cups of coffee and ample time to dig into big projects. However, one thing I’ve done is change my workouts. In the past, I completed all my workout classes early in the day or early in the afternoon. I wanted to avoid traffic and get the best parking spots. Now, I have tried to move all my workout classes to the latest time offered by each studio so that when I come home, I can eat, take a long shower then start my nighttime routine. With Notion, I not only get relief from sore muscles but also relaxation to help me wind down at the end of the day.
For you guys that haven’t used a topical CBD product, here are some facts that make Notion stand out and what you should be looking for when trying any CBD products on your body:
- CBDelivery, the powerful formulation of safe ingredients which effectively transports CBD to where it’s needed
- 100% Hemp-Derived CBD
- Zero THC
Once I’m done showering, I use Notion on my shoulders, hips and ankles. Sounds like the most strange places but that’s where I tend to get the most soreness after a few days of pilates and/or yoga. Once I’m ready for bed and trying to wind down, I’ll add just a half pump of Notion onto the back of my neck. This relieves any tension in my neck and the refreshing smell is just an extra step to calm down.
I use Notion for sore muscles/pain relief and sleeping, but here’s a few other reason you may use it:
Muscle spasm
Headaches
Stress
Recovery & performance
Have you thought about trying topical CBD solutions? In the future, the brand behind Notion will be releasing SO many amazing products with items from skin care and cosmetics to essential oils. Can you say excited?! In the comments, let me know what CBD products you have tried. As always, I love hearing from y’all so don’t hesitate to email, DM or message me. Thanks so much for reading! -xo, Azanique <3
