Basking in the Sunday light and delighted to share my office makeover with @chasingpaper 🍇

Before I even signed on the dotted line, I had my eye on Heritage Vine in lavender to bring this bright space to life. Using most of the furniture from my previous home office like the standing desk, rattan bookshelf and layered rugs, this space has become my favorite room in the house.

With a few extra square feet, my living room banquette has found its new home in the office along with a few art pieces that were in storage. My favorite new addition is the DIY 6 ft x 4 ft bulletin board I wrapped in lemongrass performance fabric to create mood boards, save special notes and pin daily inspiration.

Some of my favorite outfits from Q1! It’s been so fun re-exploring my closet after moving since all my clothes actually fit in one closet (100 year old house problems 😭). Lots and lots of color and patterns and headband = happiest heart!

Also, it’s fun going back to my 2016 #OOTD roots despite it no longer being “in style” because honestly, why not?!

Ariene Bethea is founder, retailer and huntress of @dressmyroom Dressing Rooms Interiors Studio LLC, a boutique vintage furniture shop and design studio. Fueled by the thrill of the hunt for one-of-a-kind vintage pieces, she has a flair for mixing vintage with modern day furnishings to create bold culturally inspired designs.

Interviews like this are one of the reasons I started Where Art Meets Home. Talking to creatives like Ariene inspires me to follow creative pursuits relentlessly and have fun while trying new things!

Starting to work on primary bedroom #designplans i

Starting to work on primary bedroom #designplans in my new place and I’m lowkey missing my previous primary bedroom 😭 I probably had 4 months or so of this room being “complete” before I had to move (always happens at the most inconvenient times, am I right?)

I am totally up in the air if I should wallpaper again or paint. I haven’t painted a rental in many years but I’m strongly considering paint as a way to mix it up. Help me decide below!
