This book had been on my TBR list for quite a few years. I will say we had a lively conversation about this book and our general confusion/frustration with the main character. What we didn’t get at the end was more of the “why” of her sister being a serial killer but a potential new victim entering the villa, literally. Readers do get insight into the geopolitical climate of Lagos and adjacent countries. This book is also pretty easy to read in quick burst since the sentences and chapters are quite short and there are several *gasp* moments to keep you engaged long enough to finish.
