Happy #TravelTuesday, y’all! Monday came and went and I can already feel this week going in full speed. I am honestly in shock that next week is already Thanksgiving. Like, wait, it feels like it’s still February but somehow we are in Q4. I can’t wrap my head quite around it but am excited for the warmth and cheer that the holiday season tends to bring. This week, I’ll start sharing gift guides and ideas on the blog and via social media. As much as I love getting gifts from friends/family, I love even more being able to give gifts and show others how much I care about them.
So, a few weeks ago, I headed to Raleigh, NC with my mom for a girls overnight trip. Though my mom only lives 1.5 hours away, we rarely get to spend that type of time together because of our work schedules. We were so lucky to be able to partner with a few local businesses, like Level7 Rooftop Bar, to make our trip one to remember. Though the temperatures may be getting cooler, there’s still so much time to enjoy dinner, drinks, brunch and gatherings at Level7 thanks to heaters on their roof. When we visited in October, their Fall menu was brand new and we got to try so many goodies thanks to their amazing manager, Anthony! So today, I’m sharing what we ate (& loved) from the fall menu. White Cosmopolitan: Dixie Vodka, St Germaine, White Cranberry Juice, Lime Juice
10/10 AH-MAZING! I love cosmos and this drink was the perfect start to our lunch.
Rose, Champs De Provence: Provence, France: semi-dry with hints of cherry. Love it!
10/10 you can never go wrong with Rose. This drink is perfect for anyone who loves Rose but doesn’t like super sweet wine. I can’t wait to get a bottle next time 🙂
Osso Bucco Flatbread: Shiitake mushroom, cipollini onion, truffle aioli
Okay, this was totally new flavors for me but I loved this flatbread. Shiitake mushrooms are my favorite and the scallions gave it a fresh taste on the end. This flatbread is great if you like crunch!
Seared Tuna: Peppered ahi tuna, wasabi cream, pickled shallots
If you’re a tuna fan, this is for you! My mom basically hogged this whole bowl to herself! She gave it a 12/10 because that’s how yummy it was.
Chicken Satay: Marinated chicken thigh, black garlic molasses
I could honestly eat this EVERY.SINGLE.DAY! This is the perfect small plate to share over drinks.
The food looks amazing! We’ll check this out if we ever are in this area.
