Happy Monday, beautiful people! How was your weekend? As always, the weekend went by way too fast for me but it was so enjoyable. On Friday, I took a little road trip to Raleigh and Chapel Hill and it was the perfect day. I couldn’t leave CH without stopping at bartaco (y’all know my obsession is real, okay) for dinner on the patio. I have no clue why I’m always so surprised at how good my food is but I tried some new tacos this time and different appetizers and it was all amazing. Afterwards, I stopped over at Waxing The City for a brow shaping and y’all, it was marvelous! I will be sharing more next week but I have never experience an eyebrow appointment like that. The service was A1 and I’m so pleased with how they came out. If you’ve noticed, I’m not big into arching my eyebrows or using many products (usually none at all) so I try to keep my brows shaped and clean at all times.

Anyway, today I wanted to share a fun work desk to cocktail hour outfit. Every piece of this look is optimized for comfy and all day wear. My pants, from Universal Standard, feel basically like leggings but do a much better job shaping and not stretching through the work day. They also have a cute zipper detail at the bottom that separates them from normal pixie cut style pants. My top was a huge sale find at Belk yesterday and I think I will be wearing it all year long. It would be perfect to wear with a colored pencil skirt and two strap sandals or tucked in your high-waisted bow shorts and sandals for a casual summer look. These classic red pumps were a TJ Maxx find last winter but I can’t stop wearing them. Like many of y’all know, I hurt my ankle pretty bad in May and these are one of the only pair of pumps that I can actually wear and not be in pain. The heel is a bit shorter than I usually opt forย butย this makes them perfect to wear all day and then straight to cocktail hour after. This outfit would be perfect for all types of business casual events and could easily be styled all year long.   45. Oh girl, I hear you about those weekends going by way too fast! As for your desk to cocktail hour outfit it’s just perfect as you can switch from work to party in a matter of minutes with the beautiful embroidery top and those red pumps added to it! Rocking it for sure!
