Hi, sweet friends! I hope this Saturday morning is treating you so well ❤️ As Easter Sunday is upon us, I’m super excited to share a fun, colorful Easter table setting I created recently. As y’all know, I will take any excuse to deck out a beautiful table and host friends/family. Now that Spring is here and I’m slowly starting to make friends in my new city, (what up, Queen City 👑 ) I am gearing up for a fun few months of hosting dinner parties and lunches outdoors.
When I found this Laura Ashley tablecloth on super sale a few weeks ago, I knew I needed it for Easter brunch with friends. The colors are so pretty and soft and have a slight sheen. It’s literally the De Gournay design of my dreams for less than $30 dollars. I had also been dying to use these pretty yellow plates I found here in Charlotte and these lettuce salad plates I bought last Fall at an estate sale in Austin. I swore the plates were Bordallo Pinheiro when purchasing but couldn’t be too heartbroken that they sadly were not given I bought a set of 5 for just $7 (the estate sale was more than amazing, btw). There are no distinct markings on the bottom of these plates but they are pretty, heavy and make the perfect statement as a leaf shaped cabbage plate (similar) . Some of my forever favorites such as these sturdy clear wine glasses, gold silverware and go-to scented, thick pillar candles helped the table come together quickly. With the fun addition ofpink cleod rocks glasses, a great Christmas 2021 gift from V, and FBMP bud vases, this table is set for any and every meal. My latest fav decanter is not yet available for purchase but is such a beautiful, hand blown, heirloom piece from Half Past Seven.
Regardless of the table you spend this Sunday around, I hope you find solace in these words that restored hope after three dark days:
“But the angel said to the women, ‘Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who was crucified. He isn’t here, for He has risen, as he said. Come see the place where He lay. Then go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead, and behold, He is going before you to Galilee; there you’ll see Him. See, I have told you’” (Matthew 28:5-7).
Have the most amazing weekend, friends! Thanks so much for reading and can’t wait to chat again ❤️
