5 sales to shop this week

Happy #TacoTuesday, y’all! We had a big week last week  so I took time to relax and spend days away from the computer, contracts and emails this weekend. In the best news, I finally found an apartment in the neighborhood I LOVE here in Raleigh. In just one month, I’ll be moving in and I’m so excited to start shopping for my new space. I have been knee deep in looking at matching drapes to couches to bed frames to accessories and I’m honestly not mad about it. Since I’m downsizing just a bit, I want to maximize every square inch of my apartment and decorate the way I’ve always dreamed after spending hours watching studio apartment tours on YouTube. If you recently moved or purchased new furniture, what was your favorite item to buy?

This week, I’ve come across so many amazing sales. After leaving my last apartment, I purged 2/3 of my wardrobe including everything from shoes to jewelry to work clothes. Because of so, I’ve been slowly shopping sale pieces to restock my closet to create a colorful, casual and 3x wear worthy items. Below, I’m rounding up 5 sales I’m shopping this week and what exactly I’m looking for!

JEWELRY (UNDER $20)

If you guys didn’t already know, I have  major obsession with earrings so I’m taking full advantage of the Baublebar under $20 sale. A cute pair of earrings can run you anywhere from $20 to $50 unless you shop their Target line, SugarFix by BaubleBar, where everything is less than $30. I’ve had my eye on these and these for 2 months and I’m treating myself to them now.

TRAVEL // LUGGAGE

With a few big trips coming up (Puerto Rico in fall + London for Christmas), I’ve been debating on when to buy new luggage and travel items. Since I did a fair bit of traveling last fall (Boston + Chicago + Nashville + Raleigh + NYCx2), I decided to look for all my travel related items now so I can “break them in” before the big trips. I’ve mentioned in tons of posts before that Nordstrom Rack is one of my favorite places to shop for literally everything. You can find tons of your favorite designer items in-store and online for 30%-80% off! The best time to shop is during Clear The Rack sale, which happens about 4x a year, where you get an extra 25% off your purchase. Even though #cleartherack season is over, I’ve still found a ton of travel related goodies for great prices. I’ve been looking this matching set and this charging luggage tag!

TORY BURCH (EXTRA 25% OFF CODE: EXTRA)

Extra, extra, read all about it! Tory Burch is my everyday designer of choice. Mostly loving their flats for work and sandals for daily wear, when there is a Tory Burch sale I always have to take a peek. There’s one main bag I’ve wanted since college and I’m tossing up whether to grab it now or wait until the holidays. One thing with Tory Burch sales is that nothing lasts long. Most of the popular sale items are gone within the first 24-48 hours and sometimes even before hat. With all designers items, I believe in waiting until they go on sale since the quality of the product doesn’t change no matter if you buy it at full-price or 2 months later at 30% off.

MAKEUP + SKINCARE (EXTRA 20% OFF)

If you are already on Ulta‘s email list, you should have received a 20% off coupon code that is valid until the end of the month. This is the perfect time to stock up on your favorite items and try new products. The best part about this personalized coupon is that the discount will apply to prestige brands, which normal weekly coupons don’t apply to. I’m grabbing two of my all time favorite foundation sticks (now 30% off + extra 20% off with coupon). This brand is running a buy2get1 sale and this brand is running 30% off. Since I’ve heard I’ve reviews about this primer, I’m grabbing one to try for my summer and one of my normal primer items.

WORK STYLE (30%-60% OFF)

If you haven’t noticed, this store does sales weekly. I rarely, if ever, buy anything full-price from here since there is at least 40% off dresses, tops, pants or skirts by the end of the week. Even though some of the pieces may still be pricey, I find that they hold up longer through washes and far beyond the season you are purchasing for. To avoid shipping costs, I usually order online and checkout with in-store pickup. With doing this, if something is the wrong size or I want to exchange the color, I can get all of that done in one trip instead of waiting days for the mail then going into the store.
