Good morning, my sweet friends! I hope you are all enjoying this g l o r i o u s Fall weather every second you can! Most of my last few days have consisted of several long walks as breaks during the day and in the evening with Max. I am loving that I get to soak up the cooler temps all day long. On top of that, I have been itching to get back to some type of workout regime. I had fallen off a few weeks ago but now I’m back on the wagon with daily walks and my new favorite app, Jazzercise on Demand.
There’s so many new faces around here but if you didn’t already know, growing up, I was a dancer. At my high-school, competitively, on a company team and then rounded out my dance years in college on my university club team. It feels like those experiences were light years away, so every so often, I like to get back into my dance groove. I started taking classes with my friend virtually and after discovering Jazzercise on Demand, I’m back to dancing at least once, sometimes twice a week.
Jazzercise on Demand is exactly what you think: an exercise service where for just $15.99/month (use my code SASSVIP), you have unlimited access to the best classes and teachers for dance cardio, straneth training, restoration routines and more. As they are celebrating their one year anniversary, I wanted to share 3 of my favorite workouts for you all to try.
1 | Band Blast 30 with Shanna | Shanna is President of Jazzercise and the daughter of Jazzercise’s CEO and Founder, Judi Sheppard Missett! Shanna’s bright spirits will help you kinda forget the amount of sweat running down your back for 30 minutes straight and make you put your at-home gym bands to excellent use. This workout is full body is great if you don’t want to commit to a longer workout.
2 | 10 minute core with Jenet and Adrienne | After a mostly standing workout and taking more walks, this quick workout is great for me to target my abs in an all floorwork series. I put away my weights and bands for this workout and just use my body weight and yoga mat.
3 | Fusion 40 with Jenet | This workout completely kicks my butt but y’all, the way I feel after is seriously unreal. Jenet puts a lot of fun into this one while you feel the burn of high reps with hand weights and cardio. 40 minutes is the perfect sweet spot for me to get in a good workout mid-day and still have time for lunch and home tasks before the second part of my work day
I will say, there are so many more classes I need to explore. Jazzercise on Demand has a huge library of new fusion combos and shorter (10-15 minutes) workouts that I plan to start incorporating this week to break up what I’ve tried so far. Friends, I am just excited to finally be back on the workout train. And I’m especially excited to be sharing all about Jazzercise on Demand right before their 1-year anniversary on 9/25! Sign up before September 25 to get exclusive access to celebratory content only available September 25-27, including a 55-minute party-style dance cardio class taught by 5 of Jazzercise’s best FitPro instructors, an instructor Q&A and other fun behind-the-scenes content!
I would love for y’all to try all the new workouts with me so don’t forget to sign-up now for only $15.99/month using my code SASSVIP (must be all-caps), after your 14-day free trial. In the comments, let me know what class you decide to try first! Thanks so much for reading. -xo, Azanique <3
