Happy, happy Wednesday y’all! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend. I am back to work today after 4 days off and I am dragging. However, I am so excited that we only have a 3 day week ahead of us! Friday, I will be heading to Kendra Scott for the home line launch with my North Carolina bloggers babes. I love getting together with this amazing group of ladies I have met in the past few months and I am so excited to see them again. Pro tip for any of my bloggers reading, find yourself an amazing group of blogger #bossbabes and you will excel like no other. I promise.
So today, I’m taking some of your feedback for my second edition of my summer #WorkWearWednesday series. Since it is summer time, many of my readers have requested more casual work wear looks because their dress code is much more relaxed during the summer months – so here I am. I loved putting this look together. I have definitely worn this outfit in the office and feel completely comfortable and “dressed up” enough for work. This cardigan is only $15 + 20% off and is the prettiest color. I paired this with all white pieces for a simple transition work look. Over the summer, I usually try to take advantage of the l o n g d a y s and grab a drink with friends or enjoy some time outside when I get off work. Because of that, I try to wear items that can be easily transitioned to happy hour or a trip to the book store. My accessories also bring in a fun pop of color, especially this adorable necklace. My sweet friend, Caroline, created her brand Chic Happens last year and I have enjoyed following her journey. All of her pieces are handmade, delicate and can be work over and over again. These earrings are so fun and are currently on sale here. If you wanted to add in another pop of color, you could pair this look with these fun shoes in this print or this print.
That’s all that I have for you today friends. I hope everyone has a lovely day and an awesome week. If you’re looking for me, I’ll be hooked up to a coffee IV for the rest of the day and pretending that Friday isn’t so far away. -xoxo
