Happy Tuesday, love bugs. I hope everyone is having has had an amazing week so far. This weekend, I met up with some of my fellow Style Collective sisters and NC Bloggers for a fun event at Kendra Scott. We had a great time at the Color Bar creating pretty new jewels for spring, sipping on champagne and taking way too many selfies & boomerangs. Can you blame us though? Huge thank you to Emily, With Style & Grace, for organizing such an awesome event.
So, if you’ve noticed how shopping has changed over the past few years, you have seen the subscription box craze. Personally, I am a lover of subscription boxes! There are so many good ones out there and great deals you can get by building together with subscription, not to mention you get to try a bunch of new products all at once. Recently, I have fallen in love with the Spoonie Essential Box.
What is the Spoonie Essentials Box: The Spoonie Essentials Box is the perfect gift to give to anyone fighting an illness or to give to yourself, of items that offer both comfort and utility. Carefully curated around the unique culture of chronic-illness with select products, goods, and services intended to support the bad days, compliment the good days, and enhance infusion or hospital stay-cations!
What’s in the Spoonie Essentials Box: Each month boasts themed care packages–like “Naps, Netflix, and Pills”, “Nama-stay-in- bed”, “Painsomnia”, “Self-Love isn’t Selfish” etc–equipped with “Do it Yourself Projects” for times spent at home or in the hospital, a handwritten note of encouragement, a healthy snack, new or unique all-natural remedies to common chronic-illness challenges, tokens of love and inspiration, and anything else new and innovative on the market that may enhance the life of someone fighting an illness or chronic-disease.
February’s month’s box included: acupressure wrist bands for relief of nausea, clinically proven and adjustable PSI BANDS, the Ournewheathy Spoonie Planner Medical Diary, delicious caramel Popcornopolis popcorn (So yummy), a custom medical mask from Chronically Cute Mask; ouchless inspirational hair ties from The Craft Corner Shop, super cute syringe highlighters from Chronically Fabulous by Kat, Gin Gin candies, and a limited edition Chronically Jewelled charm bracelet only available for S.E.B members.
I loved the popcorn and am sporting my new Chronically Jewelled charm bracelet everyday! Such a sweet reminder of our blessings of good health and good days. The ouchless hair ties and syringe highlighters are my favorite everyday essentials from the box. Altogether, I adore the Spoonie Essential Box and the mission behind it.
Well, that’s all for today! Be sure to check out the Spoonies Essentials Box to learn more about this great organization and the work they are doing. While you’re there, sign-up for the April “Insomnia” Box!
